Secret Service Shuts Down Fast and Furious Protest Outside White House

From Katie Pavlich.
A group of young people protested against Operation Fast and Furious on the North Lawn of the White House this morning and were quickly shut down by the Secret Service due to a "suspicious package" forcing evacuation of the area. The package was later claimed by a tourist. More of the protesters' take from Campus Reform:
The Secret Service on Monday shutdown a student-protest calling for the firing of Attorney General Eric Holder saying they were acting on concerns over a 'a suspicious package' apparently left by a tourist on White House grounds. Secret Service officials forced the approximately 50 student-activists, who organized the event over social media, to leave the area after the protest had attracted significant attention from members of the White House press corps. and major news outlets.
Maurice Lewis, a student at the University of California, Merced, who marched in the event told Campus Reform that the Secret Service had seemed on edge well before the "suspicious package" was discovered.
"Several agents seemed hostile to our march and seemed anxious for us to leave the area," said Lewis. "The discovery of the 'unidentified package' came just as the protest began to gain traction."
It should be noted that a woman did come to claim the "suspicious package," because she had left it there and it was in fact her property.
Be sure and go to TownHall and see the pictures. I saw the footage on FOX News this morning.

Well - with the lack of respect the Liberals have for the Second Amendment, is anyone surprised by their attitude towards the First AMendment right to Freedom of Assembly?

Mike, this appears to be URGENT.

Please go to Orly Taitz's website and study the Arizona case she has posted. When you read the name of the judge assigned to the case, and read the dates of the entries, remember that judge was GUNNED DOWN in ARIZONA on January 8, 2011, during the same episode in which Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was targeted. Notice that Judge Rolls was assigned the case but was not going to rule in accordance with the wishes of the "government."

There is more to this than meets the eye. See my next comment for the second link you'll need.

Had the tourist not claimed the package, my thunder would have been the SS planted it. After all, it's not like they're a moral group. But, in fairness, they got an out this time.

What can anyone expect from this Administration, to allow a protest be conducted in peace? These people have no respect for the rule of law and they cannot stand to lose. SS could have handled it differently - after all - it was a false alarm. Instead they made a mountain out of mole hill to use up the two hours in the permit for the protest.

Wonder how much they paid her to leave her bag "while taking photos" and wait until permit expired before asking, "Do you have my backpack?" If that rings hollow, it should.

She was probably, mostly, totally not connected to any governmental agency, that had prior warning of an impending protest.... Mostly...
