Self-gelded Lew Rockwell commentator, having voluntarily assimilated with the Borg concept, predicts future erectile dysfunction in millions in order to feel better about himself.

"When They Come For Your Guns . . . You Will Turn Them Over."
David comments.
Shame on Lou Rockwell.com for publishing this defeatist, cowardly screed for cattle car riders and slaves. Just because Karger doesn't have the imagination or the guts to realize a workaround to dying on his own doorstep doesn't mean better, that is, more experienced/informed minds, aren't prepared to be a significant deterrent to tyranny, and that those who would gather up the guns don't know that they can be reached before and after a raid.
As for me, what expatriates of this country have to say about what still happens here is immaterial to me. They are deserters who have left the rest of us upon the battlefield of liberty and their opinions don't mean a fart in the wind.

Well Mr. Karger, we are soon going to find out, one way or another. Another chapter in the long, brutal history of rebellion against tyranny, is about to be written.

His head is neck deep in the sand.
We wont have to fight our own military and many of them will be on our side. I hope someone points him out as the hypocrite he appears to be. On his website is a man with a gun in hand.

Bodyguard or had he been training?

Either way, he underestimates the resolve of many of us.

Does he really have big cojones, or is he just suffering from terminal stupidity? The guy lists his general living location in a country that has a lower concern for human life than even our corrupt government. It's almost like he's announcing to the local frito bandidos, "look at me, a rich Americano living in your wilderness." I sure hope he kept a gun or two for his stay in paradise (in a country where private ownership of more than a .22 is illegal).

Yep, a real smart dude is our expatriate lawyer...real smart.

Remember that it won't be just our own misguided troops and peace officers that will attack us, but, as according to the ideas layed out in the Weather Underground's Manifesto (the co-writers of which include Obama's buddy, Bill Ayers), foreign troops, as well.

You Don't Need A Weatherman To Know Which Way The Wind Blows

"The goal is the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world: world communism. Winning state power in the US will occur as a result of the military forces of the US overextending themselves around the world and being defeated piecemeal; struggle within the US will be a vital part of this process, but when the revolution triumphs in the US it will have been made by the people of the whole world."

The funny thing about the Weather Underground's claim to want to end imperialism, is that socialism is its cause, not free markets:

The Vampire Economy and the Market
http://mises.org/daily/5963/The-Vampire-Economy-and-the-Market

Imperialism has historically been funded by fiat money, which is a socialist innovation.

Socialists despise profit/loss, and so they create the very system which allows governments to steal people's wealth through inflation in order to expand the executive functions of the state: elastic currency:

Good job there, Socialists.

Does anyone expect any other than this out of the Lew Rockwell web page?

Gotta say, hes probably right, even if as some have pointed out a lot of the .mil guys aren't gonna play nice when told to shoot up civvies. If you just sit your happy butt at your house waiting for them to come get you, your pretty much screwed.

That however is a stupid plan.

Every man dies. Not every man truly lives. If I have to go, I choose to go in defiance of tyranny. Meaningless? Perhaps. But only to those who have no understanding beyond their own precious skins.

Did everybody notice that in just a few short years, our opponents went from rolling their eyes and scoffing at our "paranoia" ..... to admitting that they too fully expect there to be a "FINAL SOLUTION" to free citizens who dare to resist the gun grab?

Civil war is no longer a far fetched notion for Viet Nam vets with PTSD; it looks more likely every day, because the statists truly believe that they can crush all who oppose them.

Yes we must never forget the lessons learned by others...
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

Gotta love the willful blindness of tools like karger. He makes the same blunder that most of the assimilators do: specifically that all of the military & local LE will go along with trampling citizens into the dirt.
The only way that might succeed is thru outright trickery and once the silent majority wakes up.........they will probably succeed in some of the urban enclaves but it will become evident even to them that they will NOT be able to take over the whole country. And yes that is in spite of 'armed cars' hmmm sorta reminds me of Austria in 1956.

In reality, this isn't a Lew Rockwell writer, just someone Lew linked to from another site like he does all of the time. Believe me, Lew has been on the liberty side for decades in all aspects of the fight against the state, and his site used to be of the few on the internet that told the truth about the true purpose of the 2nd amendment.

His site also had the first documented instance of someone ripping apart that idiot professor who falsified data suggesting the US was not a gun culture in the colonial days, that was then used as the blueprint to destroy him.

There isn't one main set of beliefs there. Take it as someone who has read that site for over 12 years -- it has all sorts of differing views on subjects, even back and forth exchanges on many of them between high level historians or economists. I wouldn't place any blame on Lew for publishing this because this is a widely held view and he likes to have a good intellectual debate on the issues -- that is the only way to know the true strengths and weaknesses of an argument before it goes up against the masses, anyway.

Despite my wishes against it, I think a lot of Americans would indeed simply hand over their firearms. I don't agree that all would, and there would definitely be a tough minority that would go all out, but I think there are way too many feminized american males these days who have been brainwashed to worship the state and its actors.

The cowering fear of men w/ guns is extreme when it's big men w/ big guns. The thought that the US military would turn on its families is the fear of a beaten and abused child.

Lew needs to quit drinking the koolaid. I have no plans of going for "center mass". Either head or leg shots. Leg shots require 1-2 battle buddies to carry them out of harms way. As to armor, high tail away and live to fight another day.

could be he's trying to goad us into making the first kill, giving Uncle Sam the appearance of the moral high ground, and a seemingly justified cause for a preemptive gun grab. not likely to happen unless Uncle false-flags the attack, which of course is probably the way he'll play it.

if you run the numbers, between all military and police (that's ALL of them, from everywhere and from every job) vs 3% of estimated gun owners..we'll come out about even.

now, factor in that some of the military isn't directly combat-oriented or ready (supply clerks, mechanics, paper pushers of all stripes, ect) plus the number that would tell the commander in chief where the dog died if given such orders...

I think we have them WAY outnumbered. and that's just using the 3% estimate.

it's sad that people see armor and sh!t themselves. stay calm, stay down, wait for your opportunity. armor has doors..they gotta come out sometime...

note to self..time to study up on the proper formulation and use of THERMITE.

Don't color all ex-pats with such a broad cloth. Many have done so for careers and adventures and MANY feel that Americana has abandoned THEM anyway, so they go live places they like. I'm not defending THIS person, but I have ex-pat friends all over the globe that do everything from counter-poaching and humanitarian mine clearance to being posted to a job in a place they really liked, got married and stayed. One amigo has been in Thailand twelve years but is still a US citizen. He liked the country when he was USAF posted there, came home and got a mechanical engineering degree, stayed a while, and is now doing engineering work there again because he likes Thailand. He's no enemy. Same as many friends and acquaintances in Africa and South America.

Guitarist friend of mine likes living in Mexico because people don't freak out if you bring your dog into your local with you. Still carries an American passport. Makes better money playing Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta. That does not make him a traitor.

Keep in mind that most ex-pats are still American Citizens. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water because one person said something stupid. Ex-pats I know still have family, INCLUDING CHILDREN, in the USA, they carry US passports, and they still care about the US.

I have a different take on the article. The author makes some very valid points about what might initially happen if the federal government ever tried to forcibly disarm the America people. But his scenario would not unfold in a vacuum. Yes, many gun owners would give up their guns without a fight. Many would cart them off to the police station as ordered. But compliance with Roberti-Roos in California was estimated to be in the 15% - 20% range. That would leave the government with the choice to ignore the problem of non-compliance, and something like 85% of assault weapons still in civilian hands as California did, or conduct SWAT operations to "sanitize" neighborhoods house by house. In some of those operations the gun owner would fold, in others they wouldn't. And eventually a SWAT team would find that their exit from the area was blocked by armed civilians with weapons capable of punching holes in their body armor. No doubt the military would bcome involved at some point. But what the author fails to understand is that many of the police and military are gun owners. Many are oath keepers. Many firmly believe that the Second Amendment means exactly what it says. Many would decide that their oath to obey all lawfull orders did not obligate them to participate in any gun confiscation raids. Some would forcibly resist any attempts by command authority to make them obey.

One does not have to engage many brain cells to see how such a scenario would actually pan out. One need only look at what's happening today in Aleppo, Syria.

Well he was referrring to "neo-cons" in his piece. I'd be surprised if they didn't ultimately submit to the government. The problem is not all (or most I would guess) gun owners are statist neo-cons. Molon Labe!

Maybe you guys are taking him wrong. The circumstances of an armed-up government he describes are real. And citizens in other countries have willing given up their arms under similar circumstances.

Even Patrick Henry expressed belief an unchecked government - under the U.S. Constitution - would make armed resistance futile at some point.

"What resistance could be made? The attempt would be madness. You will find all the strength of this country in the hands of your enemies; their garrisons will naturally be the strongest places in the country."

Rather than attack the messenger, run down the guy's check list - and test yourself in what you believe.

It's going to be hard for many to put their children and spouses in harm's way - even if they firmly believe in the principles articulated by Thomas Jefferson.

Maybe I read the guy wrong. But I took his writings with a huge dose of sarcasm. Sometimes it takes a cold, hard challenge like his to get people to realize this really is the end game many in government are pursuing.

Now's the time to count the costs. Some have already done so. But many others are still living in a fantasy world.

I'd rather die atop a pile of hot brass in the place of my birth than live disarmed, cowering and hiding in the wilds of a third world cesspool. Karger would call me a fool. I would call him a coward. All things being equal, I'd rather be known as a fool.

I know I likely won't see the end of the next Civil War... But neither will many of the people that start it, nor the cannon fodder they will use to implement it.

Lots of people die for absolutely nothing every single day. If I die fighting for freedom and my way of life, how can that possibly be a bad thing?

That's an equation that people like Karger can never understand.

Well, it is probably easier to encourage people to have a tasty fried chicken sandwich than to (potentially, at least) shoot it out with soldiers/police.

Still, it's a form of defiane, so it is a start.

I agree that it would be a difficult proposition to disarm even one neighborhood in suburban America.

I can see the SWAT troops going into a neighborhood, but never coming out having been sniped from 360 degrees of good neighbors.

After this happens once or twice, the blue helmets will be called in to replace the American troops who will refuse, then it's on like Donkey Kong. Blue helmets will make fine targets.

Anonymous said...

The thing they should fear is not the individual defender, any SWAT team can take them out if at some cost.

What they should fear are the people ready to take the fight home and who understand 4G warfare.

Just 3% of gun owners with the skill and the attitude can make things a living hell.

If it gets up to 20% (and remembered this is 8 of 10 complying) and a bit more than this looking the other way, OPFOR is a goner.

The US may, no probably will go with it but better that than slavery.

It's the exact piece he sold two weeks ago to Lew Rockwell. This guy's a real piece of work. I guess he thought nobody read both blogs, so it was okay to sell it twice.

Wrong, Jim. I dropped a note to Mr. Rockwell. He may want to weigh in on the DR or he may want to chat with Mr. Karger. Or not.
