Chanukka.

A regular reader, supporter and great friend writes:
Tuesday at sundown begins Chanukka, or The Dedication/ReDedication of the Temple. Although it was not one of the Feasts of Yahovah described in the Torah, Jesus celebrated it, John 10:22-23, as He is the Light of the World, John 8:12, and calls us also to be lights, Matthew 5:14, and His Temple, 1 Corinthians 3:16. Although the Jews observe these feast days, they are much richer in meaning to us who have the Messiah, and the fulfillment of this feast, since it is those with the Light of Messiah in them that are the true Temple and light to the world. You have been a light to me and a great example, standing for the truth, for our freedom in Christ against the darkness of this world. I pray you and your family have a blessed Chanukka! Your brother in Yeshua.

Sandy Hook: You want the mother of all lawsuits?

"Sources said several families met over the weekend with lawyers from Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder, a Bridgeport law firm, to discuss a potential lawsuit against Bushmaster, the North Carolina-based manufacturer of the Bushmaster AR 15 that Adam Lanza used to kill 20 first-graders and six adults on Dec. 14, 2012."

I don't want to disrespect the beliefs of your supporter, that you quote.
I respect their passion.
But the point (unintentional?) seems to Christianize Hanukkah.
That is not necessary. It is a wonderful holiday and we Jews, Christians, Muslims, & all, share so much. Happy Hanukkah to all.

Anonymous@9:02 AM, thank you. YHWH bless you and yours too!

Anonymous@9:42 AM,

If you know the entire story of Chanukkah, it is as impossible to separate it from Christianity as it is to remove it from Jewish history, as it is the story of the defilement by the anti-Christ and the restoration by Messiah; the spiritual reality of this bit of history is too obvious to ignore. Further, one of the things Christ did on the cross was remove the wall of separation between the Jews and the gentiles, making them one in Messiah to those that believe in Him. In Christ, there is one body, one Kingdom, one God, one Truth.

Happy Chanukkah! Praise Yeshua!
