Pew poll confirms amnesty a danger to gun rights

While the new survey may encourage gun rights activists to make inroads appealing to black voters to elect gun rights-supporting politicians instead of automatically giving power to anti-gun urban Democrats, attitudes expressed by Hispanics show overwhelming rejection of pro-gun political sentiment. With only 25 percent favoring laws protecting the right to own guns, 71 percent want government to “control ownership.”

Because state ownership of guns in Central/South America has worked out SOOO well.

Ah! But how soon before they realize that becoming Citizens also recognizes their rights to free speach and to keep and bear arms?

Perhaps there may be a rapid awakening?

Perhaps this rapid awakening can be nurtured and assisted?

Many New Americans have siezed such gifts with both hands in the past ...

That's because Central Americans can't own guns, and they're just not used to liberty and being responsible for their own lives. They only know tyranny. We must straighten them out on those points.

We have the right to meaningful self-defense against wrongful aggression (including by government) regardless of how the public votes. In the modern age, "meaningful self-defense" implies the ownership of military-grade firearms at a minimum.

Of course, we only retain those rights that we are willing to fight to the death to defend. But we'd all prefer not to do that, and hopefully the Empire won't force us to.

Regarding ethnic groups: I don't know about Hispanics, but I've never been able to understand why the black community has traditionally sided with anti-gun politicians. You'd think that they of all people, with their frequent complaints about disenfranchisement at the hands of "the Man," would be furiously opposed to giving up any rights at all, let alone the only means by which rights can be protected.

Perhaps there's an opportunity here for persuasion and recruitment to the cause. Gun rights supporters could reach out more to blacks and explain to them why it's so contrary to their interests to support gun control. We can ask them: "Do you like the way the police treat you? Do you trust the police? If not, then why would you want the police to be the only ones with significant firepower? And do you think you can oppose their brutality solely with unarmed protest? What will you do if such protests are ruthlessly put down by police or military gunfire?"

On reading this, do those "no yard parking" laws make a little more sense now?

What good is your ONE vote compared to the votes of the 15 central Americans living across the street from you (and parking in their yard, thanks to the efforts of people who don't want The Man telling them what they can do on their own property).

Get it now?

So 71 percent want THIS government to do the same thing as the Mexican gubmint eh? Would that include THIS govt SHOOTING border jumpers, incarcerating illegals captured inside the country and then instant deportations after sentenced served? How about they stay in Mexico if they like it so much?

When considering the merit of a poll like this - keep in mind that these people will live thirty deep in a one bedroom apartment, shower once a week and work for twenty bucks a day. Rather than fight for their own homeland, they flee from it and come here honestly expecting to do the same things as they did in the dump they fled - expecting a different result.

They are A not very intelligent and B downright nuts.
On and many wipe their butts with their hands.

@Anonymous post from 12:30 AM; A law against parking the car on your own yard does nothing to stop the Obama Invasion.

Just like the UK - since the electorate won't vote in totalitarianism fast enough, they've decided to import a new electorate. The UK opted for Pakistanis, our elites have opted for Mexicans and Central Americans.

As Joker said in Full Metal Jacket: "Here, there: samey-same."
